Exact Domain Name Issue Report through Matt Cutts:
According to
Matt Cutts (head of Google spam team) Google is changing its some algorithm
that will affect the exact match domains of Low Quality. It will affect only those
domain names that have a strong keyword in their name and they are at high
ranked in Google only due to their domain name keyword.
What is Exact domain name:
If we have a
site that is rank in Google against keyword "Indian news" and have a domain
name like www.indiannews.com and this is getting rank first in the Google. The
Keyword and domain name is same in this case this would be considered exact
match domain. This may effects the .6% English search queries. This will affect
only low quality domains that are only ranked due to their domain name, If
they are not low quality and liable to get ranked according to algorithms, they
will not be affected by this Update.
